Had no Time to test it yet on Linux (Antergos (Arch) KDE5 / Plasma).

qDebug() says: Font Style is 0 = Normal.

BTW: Forgot to mention: The Problem exists with the Default
QMessageBox::aboutQt() as well as with personalized ones.

I will wait if there are more responses - then I will probably create a BR.
