Interesting, I didn't know about this. It certainly does not exist in ZFS for setting compression, probably not for knowing whether a file is compressed either (file on a ZFS dataset can have blocks that are compressed with all, any or none of the various supported compressors depending on how much of it was written when a certain type of compression was set...).
