[Interest] Maintenance tools and Qt creator install failed

Hi,
I have some trouble with the maintenance tools inside a VM, I did try to update the Qt creator and the installer failed with not enough memory message (VM have 2 Go only, still wish an installer would not fail for out of memory like that). I did stop the vm and restart again to launch maintenance tools again, but the maintenance tools thing the Qt Creator is 4.9.1 (just like if the update did completed) but if I launch my Qt creator is 4.8.2 inside the about.

I have Qt 5.10.1 installed and I don't want to lose it (since it's now a pain to reinstall non LTS version, an option would be welcome to support this, I cannot change all my project in the middle of it, I try to stay up to date, but some of them cannot changes at this point), how does one reinstall qt creator without losing all the rest of it? or is their a way to force a sanity check on maintenance tools and realize it's 4.8.2 that is install and the 4.9.1 did not succeed.
