I suggest you consider upgrading your compiler. https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.12/linux.html says the oldest supported gcc version is 4.8.

You can adapt QMAKE_CXXFLAGS_CXX11 in mkspecs/g++base.conf.

Anyhow, there's a good chance that you will soon hit the next compiler error then ...
