[Interest] The willy-nilly deletion of convenience, methods (was: Mixing Commercial and Open...)

The problem with companies, moving away from Qt, laying only partially with
weird licensing rules, which constantly changes (and this is annoying,
agreed)
The problem mostly with lack of C++ developers.
