These questions are probably better asked in an IncrediBuild forum or support
channel. 

Qt Creator's IncrediBuild plugin was originally contributed by IncrediBuild
themselves and was/is restricted to Linux and Windows, see [1].

The plugin implements effectively only two (very simple) build steps, so if
IncrediBuild itself works on macOS nowadays, adapting it to also cover Mac
should be straightforward. This might  possibly be as simple as removing the
restriction in the .json.in and adapting some strings in the current Linux
related step.

A change on gerrit doing so would certainly be welcome, but requires someone
with a Mac and suitable IncrediBuild installation to create and test.
