when i log into atlassin, it then asks for SSO from qt, i went through that, then i was logged in at the new jira with my qt persona..

Even though it's not proposed by default, you can also use filters created by others.
Searching the filters starting by "my" gives a few results already: https://qt-project.atlassian.net/jira/filters?name=my

I've created/adapted a few starting by "My open ...", usefults for Qt users.
