[Interest] Extension modules: Is there some documentation?

Hi!
It would still be nice to know what the deployment strategies are going to be. It looks like the extension modules are named by Qt version, so there are extension modules for 6.8.2 and 6.9.0. If there is a critical vulnerability, what happens? Will I get a patched extension modules for 6.8.2? Or can I mix my 6.8.2 installation with the extension module for 6.8.3 or 6.9.0?

Hi!
To be honest, I think we don’t have documentation for this, but on the other hand, you shouldn’t need it; those should behave like any module in Qt. Unfortunately, there was a small packaging-related bug, and that caused unnecessary updates in the maintenance tool. In reality, it won’t update anything else than the extension's main node/component. That will be fixed in the next releases. Sorry about that, and thanks for reporting this!
