Sorry, I wasn't precise. I didn't mean it's a known bug. I'm saying the output 
you pasted clearly indicates it has a bug. If you can't find one, please report 
a new one.

Yes, you can use older executables. Deployment is not normally something that 
changes, especially if you didn't change your application either.
