[Interest] If you could change the Drag'n'Drop API in QAbstractItemModel, what would you do?

I'm looking into implementing drag'n'drop defaults and customization points in QRangeModel. While this will have to map to the relevant virtual methods in QAbstractItemModel, it provides some opportunity for improving things.

If you have any experience with implementing the virtual API of QAbstractItemModel’s drag’n’drop support that you’d like to share, then I’d be interested to hear about it. You can comment here:
