Hello,
Qt-Localization[1] states "The actual act of submitting a translation is
the same as for source code (see Qt Contribution Guidelines)." So I tried
to follow it together with Gerrit_Introduction[3]:
1. I set up my gerrit account (I already have qt-project.org account)
and I accepted agreement
2. I cloned translation repository:
git clone ssh://
zdenop at codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qttranslations.git
cd qttranslations
scp -P 29418 zdenop at codereview.qt-project.org:hooks/commit-msg .git/hoo
3. I add my translation (qtbase_sk.ts) to translations directory and I
tried to run 'make commit-ts' as suggested in wiki[1]. Unfortunately there
is not such target (make: *** No rule to make target `commit-ts'. Stop.)
;-)
4. So I add my translation to git and make commit:
git add -N translations/qtbase_sk.ts
git commit -m "add Slovak translation of qtbase(_sk.ts)"
5. Then I tried to push my contribution:
git push ssh://
zdenop at codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qttranslations.gitHEAD:refs/for/master
Unfortunately it was rejected:
Counting objects: 1, done.
Writing objects: 100% (1/1), 210 bytes, done.
Total 1 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0)
To ssh://zdenop@codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qttranslations.git
! [remote rejected] HEAD -> refs/for/master (prohibited by Gerrit)
error: failed to push some refs to 'ssh://
zdenop at codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qttranslations.git'
Can somebody tell me what I did wrong or what I should do to push my
contribution?
