From oswald.buddenhagen at gmx.de Fri Apr 9 20:33:09 2021 From: oswald.buddenhagen at gmx.de (Oswald Buddenhagen) Date: Fri, 9 Apr 2021 20:33:09 +0200 Subject: [Localization] transifex presence massively improved Message-ID: moin, i took the time to finally make our tx presence actually useful: i created branch-specific resources, and configured auto-update for them. the files are pulled from the l10n-files server, so any missing or incorrect branches you find are to blame solely on the qt company, which i'm not associated with any more. i also added the installer-framework (and i think 4.0 is outdated). i renamed the teams, with the purpose to have only one team (which you may need to join now; it's set to auto-accept). if someone thinks that this is a bad idea, please speak up. i re-enabled pushing to the 5.15 branch in qttranslations on gerrit. the qt company may choose to pull from that branch, but i give just as little of a flying f*** about that as they give about translations and community-maintained branches in general (cf. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTQAINFRA-4121). the exact setup may change if they finally move their corporate arse. note that unlike the other repos under qt5/, qttranslations is still in forward-merge mode, so you should start with the oldest branch you still want to translate. i pushed a bunch of prospective changes with tx config files which should help pulling translations for submission to gerrit: https://codereview.qt-project.org/q/owner:buddenha+status:open+message:%2522add+tx%2522 i put the .tx/ directories inside the respective translations/ directories, not the repo root dirs, so it's less clutter for non-translators. if someone thinks that this is a terrible idea, please speak up. have fun!
