[PySide] Shiboken bindings and Visual C++

Hi,
In order to create C++ bindings with Shiboken, is there any version requirement on the library files created with Visual C++? I have been told that it only works with VC 2008, but it would be great if I can take advantage of the new features in VC 2010 or even VC 2012.
