Dear Community,

we are happy to announce that 6.11.0 is available.

You can read the full changelog here:

changes-6.11.0

A few highlights of the release:
- The source tree has been restructured; the shiboken-generator now
is in a separate directory to enable building with scikit-build.
- General bug fixing on PySide and Shiboken (most prominently, an
issue related to using keyword arguments in cooperative multiple
   inheritance was fixed).
- The QtCanvasPainter module (new in 6.11) and an example have
   been added.
- The QWebView class (new in 6.11) in the QtWebView module and
an example demoing it have been added.
- Many examples have been updated for Qt 6.11.
- Signal emission has been sped up by code optimizations.
- It is now possible to specify options for pyside6-uic and
   pyside6-rcc in the pyproject.toml file.
- The minimum supported Python version is now 3.10.
- iOS research is still in progress.

As always, give us a hand by reporting bugs, asking for new examples,
tutorials,
videos, etc on JIRA https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_for_Python/Reporting_Bugs
and drop by our platforms to get in touch in:
https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_for_Python#Community

We hope you enjoy 6.11!

Have a nice rest of the week

Regards,
Friedemann
