Qt Creator is built against a private build of Qt 4.5.0; your Qt 4.4.x
plugins will have a different build key and won't link. When the Qt
Creator source code is released, you can build it and your Designer
plugins both against the same installation of Qt 4.5.x and they should
work then.

Rectangular highlight is one of those features that you almost never
use, but when you DO need it, it's a serious labor saver. I second this
request!
