[Qt-creator] Installation (and behaviors) on Mac OSX

Because this accidentally got sent directly to me instead of to the 
list, I'm first including the message I'm replying to:

This is not the behavior I experienced on my laptop.  I don't recall 
whether it prompted me for my password, but it certainly didn't fail due 
to lack of permissions.

Uhh...which alt-tab behavior do you mean?  Do you mean switching between 
editors?  Option-tab works for me in that situation.

I mean switching between open source files, as you would do with 
Ctrl+Tab on Windows or Linux. I guess I didn't try Option-Tab, but 
that's a fairly unorthodox key combination -- never seen it in any 
application. As I said, Mac uses Cmd+` for that function.
