Hi,

Some of us are using QtCreator as our main IDE, not bad for an alpha ! But
as good as it is, it will be much better if:

1) Limit the scope of the "Search for" operation to:
1.1) Open documents only
1.2) Current sub project (of the file used to start the Search operation).
This is different from the "Current Project" as it look for all the files in
the project no matter the sub-project.
1.3) When using "Current Project" be able to select which sub-projects to
consider (all by default)

2) "Search for" text line must be a combo so we can view the history (now
you must type something to discover an old query)

3) Build Current Sub Project (do a qmake and make just in the sub project
where the file that starts the operation is).

4) A spell checker for comments

In general seems that QtCreator lacks the idea of sub-projects although it
reads fine complex PRO files. In very large applications (our case) we spend
a lot of time working just in a single sub-project, limiting the operations
to it will simplify our lives (mainly Search and Build).

Thanks,

   David
