You can use the same source files, and even the same project file; no 
problem there at all. You just can't produce a Mac .app on Windows or a 
Windows .exe on Mac. You'll want to reboot into the desired target for 
compilation.

As far as the Windows stuff crashing, it's rather unlikely that Creator 
is the culprit -- if you build the same source files from the command 
line, does it still crash?
