[Qt-creator] Qt-Creator RC1 behavior when using file server

When Qt-Creator has an open project whose files are on a server which
briefly loses connection (such as a Samba restart), the list of files
available in that project is emptied and the files cannot be accessed
again, even after the share is online.
When trying to re-open the project from the welcome screen, opening
fails, reporting that the .pro is already open.

Exact error messages:

     Not a file(0):H:/projects/battlezone/trunk/battlezone.pro not readable.
     Error while parsing file
H:/projects/battlezone/trunk/battlezone.pro. Giving up.
     Failed opening project
'H:/projects/battlezone/trunk/battlezone.pro': Project already open
