No doubt,
with ctrl+tab, it's the two fastest ways of getting around.
Thing is you have to get used to it.
Seems that people are used to tabs because it's so common.

Well, if I get some free time, that would be after the 16th, I'll try to 
create a branch for myself and implement what I proposed.
Just for comments. Let's see, since it doesn't look to hard.
