[Qt-creator] ctrl-shift-arrow selecting includes whitespaces(with attachment)

Hi,

I installed Thunderbird to see what you mean with direction-dependent word jumping. I can't see any difference between other editors and the composer of Thunderbird. But I'm working on Windows XP, maybe this is different when using Thunderbird on a Linux system (which I can't imagine)?

Yes, but this isn't about direction-dependent word jumping, as seen in
XUL and GTK (but not on Windows or Java Swing). Boy Lenssen suggested we
treat the whitespace in between words also as words.

I'm all for direction-dependent word jumping, but I'm not sure if we can
realistically change the way Qt works by default (which in my opinion is
the level on which something like that should be changed).

Bjørn
