We did implement a key to navigate back after you've used F2, which is 
Alt+Left by default. I think in most cases it suffices to be able to 
quickly jump to a definition and back, rather than having a window open 
for this.

At the moment Qt Creator still can't find usages of a symbol, but we're 
working on that. Once that's there, somebody could implement those two 
views of Source Insight in an output pane, for example.
