I just found out that QWebKit does still fetch information about
plugins, even though we explicitly turn loading of plugins off now.
Well, several problems:
a) creator should not load browser plugins (fixed)
b) qwebkit should not ask for plugins if they are not used at all
c) qwebkit should not crash for your plugins
To solve (c), could you please check which plugin makes the problem,
by going into "/Library/Internet Plug-Ins" (and or "~/Library/Internet
Plug-Ins) and moving single plugins away, checking if creator still
crashes?
My QWebKit contact in Oslo suspects the "Silverlight" plug-in, so it
might suffice to move that away. Hopefully we'll have a fix tomorrow.
Thanks a lot, Eike
