No. The debugger worked rather well in the official beta release and
in the snapshots until sometime in January.

There seem to be two major issues with the debugger in the release
candidate, a platform-independent one and something that might be
reated to starting external processes on Windows.

The platform-independent one was reproducible by trying to set
additional breakpoints during the debugger startup. This problem
should be fixed in the public git 1.0.0 branch.

The other problem is so far not reproducible reliably but it is
"there" somehow, and it does not seem to be present on Linux and Mac.

In such cases please send a copy of the contents of the right pane
of the "Gdb" view (Debug -> Views -> Gdb must be checked)  as private
mail or put it on, say, http://creator.pastebin.com
