Hi Eike

I have Qt4.4 in the /usr/local folder. I can delete it and it will
come back after the installer is run.

MacBook-2:local mwhite$ pwd
/usr/local
MacBook-2:local mwhite$ ls -la
total 8
drwxr-xr-x   19 root  wheel   646 30 Dec 18:33 .
drwxr-xr-x@  11 root  wheel   374  2 Dec  2007 ..
drwxrwxr-x    4 root  wheel   136 27 Sep 12:01 Qt4.4

drwxr-xr-x   45 root  wheel  1530 19 Nov 12:33 bin

drwxr-xr-x   20 root  wheel   680 19 Nov 12:33 include
drwxr-xr-x    2 root  wheel    68  4 Apr  2006 info
drwxr-xr-x  147 root  wheel  4998  6 Oct 14:53 lib
drwxr-xr-x    8 root  wheel   272  3 Feb  2008 man
lrwxr-xr-x    1 root  wheel    25 26 Aug  2007 mysql -> mysql-5.0.45-
osx10.4-i686
drwxr-xr-x   19 root  wheel   646  4 Jul  2007 mysql-5.0.45-osx10.4-i686

drwxr-xr-x   11 root  wheel   374 19 Mar  2008 share

Most of the above are legacy unix apps I have installed, ie aw mysql
php5 etc are all apps previously designed for unix and ported to Darwin.

And these in usr/bin/

MacBook-2:bin mwhite$ pwd
/usr/bin
MacBook-2:bin mwhite$ ls -la qt*
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel       10 30 Dec 18:33 qt3to4 -> qt3to4-4.4
-rwxrwxr-x  1 root  wheel  1972168 27 Sep 12:01 qt3to4-4.4

I have set the path for the additional Qt system as /usr/local/Qt4.4
and Creator is finding it there OK in the GUI., but the project will
not build.

Regards
Michael White
