[Qt-creator] CDB/MS C++ Compiler Support Confusion

So, Qt Creator 1.2 adds support for the Microsoft Console Debugger
(CDB), but AFAIK you can only use CDB to debug applications compiled
with the Microsoft C++ compiler right? So does that mean I can now
create Qt apps built using the MS compiler from Qt Creator 1.2? There
is mention in the release notes about experimental support for this.
The Microsoft compiler is, by all accounts, a better compilter than
gcc on Windows and generates smaller applications, etc. So, how do I
go about configuring Qt Creator to use MS tools or have I got the
wrong end of the stick here?
Any advice on CDB/MS toolset support would be welcome. Note that I am
not interested in using Visual Studio as a development environment
because I am in love with Qt Creator. :)
