[Qt-creator] Beginner Questions: How to open existing, downloaded Samples as Projects

Hello,

I am a beginner to Qt and have downloaded some samples from different  
Websites to study them.
When I start Qt Creator 1.2.0 I am possible to start "Qt Beispiele  
öffnen" Open Qt Samples or so.
But when clicking on "Editiern" Edit I can only start with "New  
Projects", but I want to test the sources in the folder "xxx" and  
compile it.
