[Qt-creator] libQtGui undefined reference FCFreeTypeQueryFace on Cent OS 5.2

Using Qt Creator I made a QT4 Gui Application.  I made no modifications .  When I build I  receive the following error:

qtsdk-2009.01/qt/lib/libQtGui.so: undefined reference 'FCFreeTypeQueryFace"

I am a Qt and Linux newbie.  Vista and Mac OS X had no problems.  Is this likely the result of a dependency missing on Cent OS 5.2 that QT requires?
