[Qt-creator] Running application, Debugging application

Hello all,

is there anyone how can tell me:
 
1) How to tell the QtCreator what program should be started? My projects 
is mytest.pro, the directory is called CVS_mytest and QtCreator tries to 
start "mytest"; In Run-Configuration it only lists "mytest"...
2) When I try to debug the program, what do I have to do to switch the 
debugging windows off?
