Interesting.   I wanted to test out the Windows version of QtCreator so 
I installed my XP Pro as a 10GB guest with VMware and installed Creator 
in it.    Expanded out it took 2 GB of space!   I know that includes 
MinGW and all, but that is a LOT of space for a development tool.   Add 
FF3, Thunderbird, GoogleEarth and SketchUp and I had 650KB left.

Moral:   Run QtCreator on a guest OS all by itself if you are going to 
add any significantly sized projects.
