[Qt-creator] platform independance?

I'm tried to develop on Qt with the latest official Qt-Creator on both Vista and Mac OSX 10.4 but the project I created on Mac doesnt produce an Executable on Windows. It loads and I can even change things in the UI but when I compile it it never produces a binary. I use gcc 4.3 on Vista. I already tried many things like converting the files to Windows Endlines or by deleting Mac specific files and the Makefile - alas nothing helped.

Do others here experience the same?
