[Qt-creator] Problems with debugger helper

Dear all,
I have lots of problems trying to use the debugger helper, on my three
computers:
- One under windows XP, with mingw TDB (gcc 4.3), QT 4.5.2, QTCreator
1.2.1. I do not use admin privileges. gdb outputs messages like "access
denied to process ..." and qtcreator raises a "debugger not working" dialog.
- One with WinXP, all same versions, but with admin privileges. Then the
helper option is automatically and silently turned off each time I start
debugging.
- One under debian unstable, AMD64. I use QT 4.5.2 and QTCreator 1.2.1. The
option stays checked and I have no error dialog. But when I try to watch a
class with helper option turned on, gdb keeps outputting watch info
continuously, QtCreator becomes quite slow, and the watches do not refresh
properly (no class info is displayed). Without the helper, everything works
fine.
I have tried rebuilding the helper several times. I'm getting mad with that
helper...
Any help appreciated!! At least I would like to have the helper on one
machine...
Thanks,
Etienne
