qtcreator is a bash script you should run massif on qtcreator.bin. I installed VTK & co (on ubuntu 9.10) and I wrote a little test-app that includes boost graph, crypto++, STL and QtGui. My test-app takes around 52mb which make sense considering the huge number of header files pulled from these libraries.
