Thanks for all your hints. At the moment I am considering to do the described changes by myself.
You comments are very helpful. It is always very good to get explanations that point to the correct direction.
Most of the time it takes longer for me to crawl through QtCreators code to get an understanding of where to begin working to implement my needed functionality than to implement the functionality itself =)
So thanks a lot.

That is another way that I'd like to explore..
I keep you informed as I progress... Which depends on the time I can spend on the plugins =)
