[Qt-creator] turning off auto-complete?

Hi,

I wonder if there's a way to turn off auto-complete in Qt Creator?

It slows down my typing so much - whenever I reach a punctuation mark,
and end of a variable name, a namespace boundary the whole editor blocks
for seconds, CPU usage goes through the roof, and I have to switch to
another window and read some website (or type this letter), while Qt
Creator becomes responsive again.

I looked through the options, but didn't seem to find a way to turn this
off.

How can I?

PS: this is on a Core Duo 2GHz machine, 3GB RAM, Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit, Qt
creator 1.3.0
