[Qt-creator] GLSL shaders

Hello,

The MIME type definitions in Qt Creator options do not change your system settings. They are only used to tell Qt Creator which editor to use to open a specific type of file. Qt Creator can look at file name extensions or file contents to make this decision.

Therefore, if you add your file name extensions to the MIME types for the GLSL Editor, Qt Creator will know to use GLSL Editor to open your files.

We probably should have called this something less dangerous-sounding, like 'Telling Qt Creator About New File Types'.

OK thanks all... I was looking for something less "low-level", a kind of "Shaders options" tab or
something. I usually avoid to mess with mime types.

Anyway, thanks all.
