For some reason even the vault seemed to have a hickup ;-)
(Usually I look about once per month at the non-subscribers' mails.)

A good place for feature requests is bugreport.qt.nokia.com.

I am not aware of such plans for the "normal" editing, but it's
"obviously" there in FakeVim (using '~').
