[Qt-creator] QtCreator adds -spec parameter in qmake build step

What is the reason of adding -spec parameter to qmake step? Couldn't we
just use default one (without any parameters)?
This causes a problem in case of host qmake for cross compilation.
When qmake gets -spec parameter it simply ignores QMAKE_XSPEC value.
