It looks I will never stop looping the details I already posted
multiple times... :-)
I have mentioned, that I have read the README [1] very carefully

The only places where 'git' is mentioned are the steps 2 to 6, about
building with MinGW.
But, even there, nothing is mentioned about
 git submodule update --init.
required to enable qbs, among other features I guess.

I take it as a standard 'patches welcome' response which bounce
back myself frequently to users of FOSS projects I maintain myself.
(I see my bad karma score has just hit me back ;-))

How one who is trying to learn how to make a full build of Qt Creator
from Git, flooding the list with detailed questions, iteratively discovering
the subtle details missing here or there, may be able to provide such patch?
