[Qt-creator] bare metal: target extended-remote?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for this! I've just gotten a Creator build configured on my
machine, and was able to apply this patch successfully. Unfortunately,
the toolchain I'm currently using
(https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded) doesn't provide a
python-enabled GDB, so I encountered an error from Creator complaining
about this and have not yet been able to proceed.

I was looking around and saw you asked a similar question
(https://answers.launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+question/242538) so
perhaps I will try to follow up with that and make some progress. I'd
prefer to continue using that toolchain if possible, since it provides
an optimized version of newlib.
