On the other hand there are people who really love unity builds, mostly
game developers (maybe they need to deal with toolchains that don't do
lto?). As a build system developer I just provide a tool that works as well
as possible in both cases and let people decide for themselves what they
want to do.
Anyway, I'm not suggesting that Qt Creator start using unity builds (or not
use them, either), this was just an experiment I did and I posted the
results here because they seemed generally interesting.
