yes, that's a known issue and should have been fixed already ( https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-13515 )

Hi,

When working with the Nightly 3.3 Build as of Nov 25 (9a5f81d96f) under
Windows 7 x64, my two MSVC kits loose their "Compiler" setting.
Interestingly, the one MinGW kit doesn't.

The Qt versions are all "Manual", the MSVC compilers are
"Auto-detetcted" and the MinGW is "Manual".

Is this a known problem?
