[Qt-creator] Code-editor reuse

Hi,

I'm trying to create a simple editor.

I really like the one used in QtCreator, is there any way to use it separately?

I tried this link, but it has multiple problems, e.g the left line
number area sometimes is not aligned with the text on the right side
