Hi,
If I remember correctly this feature is in a long time.. See Preferences -> Text Editor -> Behavior -> Mouse and Keyboard -> Hide mouse cursor while typing. This is on by default, so unchecking it should be what you're looking for.
Kind regards,
Christian

Subject: [Qt-creator] Visualze whitespace mouse weirdness on sierra
I'm not sure when this appeared (4.0.3 seems to have it as does 4.2rc1) , but it seems that when visualizing whitespace on macOS Sierra, that the mouse pointer disappears while I type but doesn't come back. I've got to do the wiggle thing that makes it big a few times to get the mouse cursor back.
Can anyone confirm?
