I just assumed the default is the best one. There's so many to choose 
from, and I don't know what they even mean.

The default is "CodeBlocks - Unix Makefiles". For "Ninja", there's 
several options: Ninja, CodeBlocks Ninja, CodeLite Ninja, Eclipse Ninja, 
etc. I have no idea whatsoever what these are.
