Qt List,
Thank you for your help and I have definitely learned a lot about
programming in Qt (and taught myself C++ too!) with the guidance I have
received. The LCD screen is working and I am avoiding mmap() while
directly writing to the screen. The process isn't terrible complex but
what was confusing was understanding what Qt wanted for a plug-in.
Honestly, an example that implements SVGlibs doesn't show how the low
level implementation is carried out so a lot of hang-ups occurred there.
It makes much more sense to be now that I have successfully implemented
my own plug-in (duh!) :-).
So I want to look into using a USB mouse with the board now. There
doesn't seem to be much documentation about both how Qt talks with the
mouse as well as what signals Qt wants in a plug-in for a mouse with a
Google search as well as on Qt 4.5.1 documentation (there is a small
article about it but not answering my questions). Any suggestions?
Guidance? Obvious documentation right under my nose! Thank you for
your time!
Sincerely,
Bryce
