Hi All,

While i am installing qt in linux, at the time of configure i am giving
a different path for installing the qt by using the --prefix option as
mentioned in ./configure -help.

...........................................................................
...........................................................................
Qt is now configured for building. Just run 'gmake'.
Once everything is built, you must run 'gmake install'.
Qt will be installed into /home/trinath/Qt_install_dir/

To reconfigure, run 'gmake confclean' and 'configure'.
...............................................................................
...............................................................................

But after configure is completed, it is showing the message that it will
install in the specified directory
as above but after gmake and gmake install it is taking the default path
i.e /usr/local/Trolltech/qt-embedded...

Did anyone faced the same problem? and what should be the solution for
this problem.

Thanks in Advance...

Regards
 Trinath
