[Qt-embedded-interest] QtWebkit and plugins

Hello everybody,
    I am a bit confused about which is the way to create plugins
for QtWebkit on QtEmbedded.

As far as I know using NPAPI plugins is not possible because they
rely on Xt or XEmbed extensions that are not available for QtEmbedded

I see in the documentation the class QWebPluginFactory that seems to allow
to create some plugins within the code of the browser application.

Which is the current status of plugins for QtWebkit on QtEmbedded ?
Which is the best way to proceed to create a plugin handling contents
(e.g. PDF files, flash, videos) on Qtembedded ?
