[Qt-embedded-interest] Painting Over Pop-Up Widgets

QT Embedded,

While working on re-implementing a better QScreen plugin I test it
with the patientcare demo from the Qt website. Since I finally got the
rectangles to work and each rectangle is being updated rather than the
whole screen (much faster!) I cannot seem to get the pop-ups to stay
displayed. By this I mean that when you press on one of the buttons
located in the top right quarter of the demo a widget should pop-up and
allow the user to scroll a little wheel up and down to change some
values. On my display it appears for a split second and is then painted
over by the background and scrolling heartbeat monitor. How can I make
the display stay displayed there? I know it is working because if I use
my mouse to scroll where the wheel would be it appears between
repainting and you can see the flickering of being painted and then
painted over with the background. It scrolls and all, so I know its
working just not displaying. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get
the widget to stay on top of the background image?
