Dear Pankaj,
I think Qt Embedded is the way you should go. Qtopia and Qt Extended have
more or less been discontinued.
What do you mean by "kernel images based on Qtopia"? Qtopia doesn't have
anything to do with the linux kernel. You can use Qtopia, Qt Extended and
Qt Embedded on top of any linux kernel.
Btw...we're using Qt Embedded on an ARM9 platform very successful.
